it is 5:00 am
there's a song in my head
can't find the lyrics, dang!
a soft melody
went on in loops
over and over and over
i wonder, what's the scoop?
the notes sound so familiar
yet i couldn't make out
seems as though so far away
coming from within, from without
i know this song in my head
from the past without a name
years and years may have gone
but the song remains the same...
